Type I Brand Identity


Brand identity for Gatagoto, a project which provides a platform to help clear Berlin's cycle lanes and make cycling safer!

Gatagoto is a product made by cyclist for cyclist.  It was named after the Japanese word ‘gatagoto’: rattling or clattering -  the sound that bicycles make when ridden on an uneven surface. The dynamic logo and DIY look represents the start-up core values: well-crafted, sustainable and community driven. The green tones are a reference for the green traffic lights but also were chosen so the screens are visible at night.
